Nicole is an accounting and finance professional with more than fifteen years of experience across corporate finance, public accounting, real estate, hospitality, and multi-entity operations. She combines senior financial leadership with hands-on work in accounting, reporting, budgeting, cash-flow planning, and internal controls.

Before establishing her independent practice, Nicole served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration at Carr Companies in Washington, DC. Why Golden Eagle

Based in Shelburne, Vermont, Golden Eagle gives business owners and nonprofit leaders a direct working relationship with Nicole. She brings years of financial leadership experience to the everyday questions behind the numbers, from getting the books in order to understanding cash flow and planning ahead.

The work is built around your existing team, systems, and priorities. For some clients, that means a reliable monthly close and useful financial reporting. For others, it means resolving a backlog, improving a process, or working through cash-flow and planning decisions. Recommendations are grounded in how your organization actually operates.

Clear explanations and repeatable processes are central to the relationship. The goal is to leave you with financial information you can use, a better understanding of what needs attention, and practical ways to keep the accounting on track.

A defined scope, a useful working relationship

Every engagement begins with a conversation about your current setup, priorities, and the support you need. Before work begins, you receive a proposal setting out responsibilities, deliverables, and the fee. If additional needs emerge, the scope and fee are revisited together.

Nicole can work alongside your internal staff, CPA, payroll provider, and other advisors, with clear ownership of each responsibility. Support can be ongoing or focused on a specific project.
